Another fortnight

Here is another update of work from the last two weeks. Well, two or three may be older than that, but I still want to share them.
This kid had the most amazing emotions during his reading/writing tutoring session in DeKalb, Ill. This was how he reacted when he correctly wrote the letter “G.”

Busy weekend

Hinckley-Big Rock won two very close games to win their second class 1A state championship. My weekend began Friday morning with a road trip with two writers from the Daily Chronicle heading down to Bloomington, Ill., to cover three state tournament games: 2 basketball, 1 wrestling.

Everytime I come to shoot in the DeKalb High School gym, the swim coach always appologizes for the lighting. A large bank of windows allows for some usually impossible dramatic lighting at indoor pools. Winter sports portraits
