Occupy the Prisons in San Quentin, Calif.

On Monday, I was assigned to cover the latest Occupy event in the Bay Area: Occupy the Prisons. I didn’t follow up to find out how the attendance was elsewhere in the nation, but about 300 hundred arrived outside San Quentin Prison in the north bay.

Bank of the West Tennis Tournament Part 2

As promised, more photos from the end of the Bank of the West Tennis Tournament from two weeks ago. You’ll notice these images are nearly entirely of Serena Williams. Well, she won the whole match and just had the best expressions… so there.

San Francisco Giants Opening Weekend for Thomson Reuters

I had the privilege to cover the San Francisco Giants home opening games on Friday and Saturday. I’ve been a Giants fan all my life and this was my first time on the field at either Pac Bell or Candlestick.
