Another fortnight

Here is another update of work from the last two weeks. Well, two or three may be older than that, but I still want to share them.
This kid had the most amazing emotions during his reading/writing tutoring session in DeKalb, Ill. This was how he reacted when he correctly wrote the letter “G.”

Shooting my first cage match

Last week I shot my first ever cage match. It was an amateur mixed martial arts tournament, with local DeKalb and Kane County fighters taking on a club team from Chicago. Not only have I never shot a fight, I have never even attended one. This was all sorts of new.
