It’s been a while since I broke out my portable mini-studio consisting of a 2 Canon flashes, pocket wizards, manfrotto mini-light stands and calumet’s smallest umbrellas.

Lights go out at Brian and Katie’ wedding, but the party doesn’t miss a beat.

My family and I attended a wedding of our good friends Brian and Katie, in Detroit. I was purely a guest at this wedding, but that didn’t mean I wasn’t going to take pictures.
The ceremony took place at the wonderful Detroit Yacht Club on Belle Isle.
