Indy 500

You may be expecting to see images of race cars in this post. Sorry, but that is not the case. Just as interesting as the 500-mile race involving 220+ mph machines are the antics the night before, camping out in the area around the track.

Starved Rock

Just finished a crazy week at work so I haven’t been able to post until now. But before the insanity, I was able to squeeze in a day at Starved Rock State Park with some friends.

Erik and Ashley

Thank you so much to Erik and Ashley for asking me to photograph their wedding at the Garfield Arboretum in Chicago. The venue was fantastic to shoot in and the night was really fun.

My roommate’s girlfriend was in town after moving away to take a reporting job at a paper in North Carolina. So when she asked if I could take some portraits of them I was thrilled.

First day of school

Tuesday was the first day of school for one of the smaller, rural districts in the county. There was a feeling of excitement for new friends and sadness that summer was now officially over.
