49ers devour Bears 32 to 7 (for Reuters)

The San Francisco 49ers lineman Aldon Smith had 5.5 sacks alone. That gives you a good sense of how the Chicago Bears fared in Monday Night Football’s romp. I wonder if anyone on the East Coast kept watching after the end of the first half when the score was 20 to 0.

Gloomy day, gloomy game. 49ers lose to Giants in NFC Championship

The weather seemed appropriate for yesterday’s NFC championship game between the San Francisco 49ers and the New York Giants at Candlestick Park.
Not only was the weather gloomy, so was the passing, receiving and ball handling.

Oakland Raiders vs Detroit Lions

Oakland Raiders fend off Chicago Bears

I saw a very different Raiders this past weekend. This time their were a confident and dominating team. Much different from previous Sundays. Probably due to their relatively new quarterback Carson Palmer getting better situated with the team.
