Kevin is back in the hospital

In January, I wrapped up a long term story about Kevin Ballantine, a Northern Illinois University student battling Leukemia.
Unfortunately, the narrative is not over for Kevin. A year later, he is back in the hospital.

Amazing Grace

Local high school swimmer Grace Waller recently had a cancerous tumor removed from her femur. Despite temporarily loosing the use of her right leg, she still tries to fit in a few swim practices between chemo sessions.
