I recently had the amazing opportunity to travel to Italy and photograph my cousin Rainer’s wedding. Rainer (born in Germany) met Luana (from Sardinia) while both working in Washington D.C. just like my sister and her fiance Andrew.
The wedding took place in the gorgeous mountain town of Ollolai on the island of Sardinia in the Mediterranean.
I had an absolute blast. The wedding started at 9 AM and ended somewhere near morning the next day. Hundreds of people took place in the event which included walking through the town as people smashed plates with rice and flower petals at the feet of Rainer and Luana.
